I was browsing through the web last night and checking out different sites that sell the same type of products we offer.  I was stunned to see how many of the sites use pictures that are not good. I can promise you that when our cookies arrive they look every bit  as good as they do on our website.

If you do choose the ground shipping just make sure you follow them when you get the tracking number, and make sure you have someone at home to sign for them.  We have companies that order dipped fortune cookies from us year round and don’t have any problems having them shipped ground.

What I like most about this font how clean it is yet fun!  You could actually use it for any occasion, Judy used if for a wedding, but it could really be used for businesses as well.  One of the great things about ordering custom fortune cookies from www.tankinz.com is that you get to choose your font. This allows you to fully customize your messages for your event and make the event extra special for your guests.  Often times customers like to use upscale looking fonts for weddings and businesses like to stick with something that is easier to read.  The most common font we use is Arial, it’s clean and easy to read.  Even in a smaller typeset it is easily readable.

From the time you recieve your confirmation email we can usually have most orders ready to ship in 2 business days. So if you were to place your order on Tuesday, your cookies would be ready to ship by Thursday. Now there are a few things that could hold this up. If you are using a logo on your messages it may take some extra time to get that setup, or if you are ordering dipped cookies there may be an extra day needed, but for the most part we can have your cookies ready to ship within 2 business days of receiving the order.

Once your cookies have shipped the transit time really depends on where they are being shipped to.  As long as your cookies are being shipped to the US they will most likely arrive via FedEx. We are located in Salt Lake City, Utah. For the most part ground shipping takes anywhere from 2-5 business days.  FedEx shipping days are considered Monday-Friday, so you cannot count the weekends (friday and saturday) as transit days.  Below is a small chart of the average shipping days needed. Check your region to get a better idea

WEST COAST (California, Idaho, Nevada, etc..) - 2 Business Days via ground

MIDWEST (Texas, Nebraska, Kansas) - 3 Business Days via ground

SOUTH (Tennesee, Georgia, Oklahoma) - 4 Business Days via ground

EAST COAST (New York, PA, MA) - 5 Business Days via ground

Everything going to FL usually takes 5-6 Business Days via ground

On the order form it will ask you when you want to receive your cookies. Make sure you fill in the date there, if at the time of shipping we don’t think the shipping service you chose will make it in time, we will contact you to give you some other options.  ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS GIVE YOURSELF AT 2 DAYS BEFORE YOU USE THE COOKIES AS YOUR ARRIVAL DATE!  Don’t have the cookies set to arrive the same day you plan on using them.  We also usually try to ship the cookies a day or early if we can, FedEx is very good at delivering what they promise, however; problems can occur. So give yourself a fews just in case.

When you check out in your shopping cart it is going to ask you which shipping method you want to use, it will also give you the price of each method.  Other than ground you can ship via 2 Day Air or Overnight.

CUSTOM FORTUNE COOKIE TIP #4 - BE UNIQUE

It always amazes me the creativity of our customers. The other day I had a large company call wanting to get a quote on fortune cookies.  They were looking for over 200,000 cookies, a very large order, and they mentioned they were going to be running a campaign and they wanted to use fortune cookies to promote their product.  We have done similar order before, companies use fortune cookies all the time to promote a new items or product line, but for this company they were wanting to use the fortune as the actual coupon.  There would be numerous fortunes, i.e. “5% OFF”, “10% OFF, etc… but the neat thing was that they were going to use the backside of the message as the actual bar code.  What a great idea!  We ran some samples and to make sure the bar code would scan, and whammo success!! The campaign will be a huge success.

For wedding messages we had a couple that used the messages as a short story about themselves and it was up to the guests to put the fortunes together to arrange the story.  They did by table, so each guest at each table had their own cookie, on the front it said “Thank you for sharing this special day with us!” and on the back it had three lines of a story about how they met and future plans, but you had use all the fortunes on the table to put the story together.  I thought that it was a great idea!
